Materials & care

ULVERONI pieces combine layered resin with gold-plated stainless steel. A little care keeps the colours clear and the plating bright for longer.

What our pieces are made of

• Layered cast resin. The colour bands are poured one layer after another, so the bands of each piece vary slightly.
• Frames: 316L stainless steel with 18K gold plating.
• Earring posts: 316L stainless steel.
• Claw clips: layered resin with a stainless steel spring and hinge.

Caring for the gold plating

Gold plating is a thin surface finish. It wears gradually with use, and how quickly depends on how often and how you wear the piece. To keep it looking its best:

• Keep your pieces away from water: take them off before you shower, bathe, swim or wash your hands.
• Avoid contact with perfume, lotions, hairspray and other cosmetics. Put your jewellery on last, after skincare and perfume have dried.
• Avoid chlorine and salt water: take your pieces off before the pool, the hot tub or the sea.
• Wipe each piece with a soft, dry cloth after wearing to remove skin oils.
• Store each piece separately in its pouch, so pieces cannot scratch one another.

Caring for the resin

• Avoid heat: do not leave your pieces in hot places such as a car dashboard or near a heater.
• Strong sunlight over long periods may change the colours over time. Store your pieces out of direct sunlight.
• Resin can chip or crack if it falls. Take care not to drop your pieces on hard floors, and put them on and take them off over a soft surface.
• Do not use jewellery cleaners, solvents or ultrasonic cleaners. A soft, dry cloth is all you need.

Claw clips

Open the clip fully before placing it in your hair and do not force it over more hair than it can hold; this protects the spring and hinge. Keep clips dry and store them in their pouch.

Safety

• Our pieces contain small parts and are not toys. Keep them away from children under 3 (choking hazard). Claw clips are not for children under 3.
• Stop wearing a piece if skin irritation occurs.

What we don’t claim

• We do not call our resin stone. Our pieces are inspired by the layers of sandstone, but they are made of resin.
• We do not claim that our pieces are hypoallergenic or nickel-free, because we do not have a test report to support such a claim. If you have a metal allergy, please check with your doctor before wearing them.
• We do not claim that the plating is tarnish-proof or that the pieces are waterproof.
• We make no health or wellness claims for our jewellery.
