Answers to the questions we are asked most often about our pieces, orders, delivery and returns. If yours is not here, please get in touch.

Are the pieces made of stone?

No. Every ULVERONI piece is made of layered cast resin, not stone. The bands of colour are inspired by sandstone canyon walls, but they are poured in resin, one layer after another, and set in 316L stainless steel frames with 18K gold plating.

Do the colours vary from piece to piece?

Slightly, yes. Because each layer is poured separately, the lines between the colours never fall in exactly the same place twice. A pair of earrings will match, but your piece may differ a little from the one in the photos. Colours on screen can also look slightly different from the piece itself.

How heavy are the earrings?

Every earring page lists the length in millimetres and the weight of one earring in grams. As a rough guide, under 4 g feels light, 4–6 g is noticeable and over 6 g is a statement weight. See the size guide for more.

Are the earrings hypoallergenic?

We cannot make that claim, because we do not have a test report that would support it. What we can tell you is exactly what the pieces are made of: layered resin in 316L stainless steel frames with 18K gold plating, with 316L stainless steel earring posts. If you have a metal allergy, please check with your doctor before buying, and stop wearing a piece if skin irritation occurs.

Can I wear my jewellery in the shower or to swim?

No. Water, chlorine, salt water, perfume and lotions all wear the gold plating faster. Take your pieces off before you shower, swim, exercise or apply skincare. Our care guide has more tips.

How do I find my ring size?

Our cocktail rings come in five sizes, UK J½ to R½ (EU 49 to 59, US 5 to 9). The size guide has a table with inside diameters and circumferences and explains how to measure your finger at home. If you are between two sizes, choose the larger one.

Are the claw clips sold in pairs?

Yes. The medium claw clips (8.5 cm) are sold in pairs, and the mini clips (4.5 cm) come as a set of four.

Do you offer gift sets or gift messages?

Our earring gift sets contain two pairs of earrings from the same strata in an indigo box. We do not offer gift messages at the moment.

Which currency will I pay in?

You pay in the currency of your delivery country: GBP for the UK, USD for the United States, EUR for eurozone countries, DKK for Denmark, SEK for Sweden, NOK for Norway and CHF for Switzerland. You can choose your country with the “Ship to” selector in the header; the delivery country you enter at checkout decides the currency.

Do you charge VAT, or will I pay duties?

We are not registered for VAT in the UK or the EU, so our prices for the UK, the EU, Norway and Switzerland contain no VAT. Parcels are shipped from outside your country’s customs territory, so import VAT, duties and carrier handling fees may be charged on delivery; these are paid by the recipient. In the United States, prices exclude sales tax; Utah sales tax is added at checkout for Utah addresses. Details are on the Shipping page.

How do I pay?

Available payment methods are shown at checkout. Payments are processed by our payment service providers, Stripe and PayPal; your card details never reach our servers. Payment is taken when you press “Place order and pay”.

Where do you ship?

To the United Kingdom, the United States, the eurozone countries (Austria, Belgium, Croatia, Cyprus, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia and Spain), Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Switzerland. We do not ship to other countries at the moment.

How long does delivery take?

We prepare orders within 1–3 business days. After dispatch, delivery usually takes 5–8 business days to the UK, 6–10 to the eurozone, Denmark and Sweden, 7–12 to Norway and Switzerland, and 5–9 to the United States. These are estimates. You receive a tracking link by email when your order leaves.

Can I return earrings?

Yes, within 30 days of delivery, as long as the hygiene seal on the inner pouch is unbroken. Once the seal is broken, earrings cannot be returned for hygiene reasons, and for consumers in the EU, the EEA and the UK the right of withdrawal for earrings expires. This does not affect your rights if the earrings are faulty. See Returns & refunds.
